Learn To Let Go

These things just came into my mind like a gust of wind, and I would like to share it:

Learn to let go of the things in your life.

Until we're fully satisfied with what we have, only then we'll be able to see how much God has already blessed us and is still blessing us!

I learnt that when we give all our cares and worries to God, He'll know what to do with it and will teach us what to do =)

Stay strong in the LORD brothers and sisters in Christ =)

Look For Christians In Need And Find Ways To Meet Their Needs

Dear faithful army of God, I would like to talk about "Looking for Christians in need and finding ways to meet their needs."

From the Bible, the book of Romans 12:13 says, "Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."

Who helps you "keep it real"?

Who makes sure you never forget who you are at the core of your being?

Who keeps you from getting too wrapped up in yourself?

Who gives you a reality check when you need one?

For the Christians in Rome, the apostle Paul was that person. In his letter to the Romans, Paul hammered home the truth to the Christians there!

What about you? Is it a church member? A mentor? Maybe a family member? Or even the neighbor next door who always tells you how great God is? Well, many people needs help! Are you willing to go out there into the world to practice hospitality and share the Word of God to the people who are in need? What about in your community?

Yes there's plenty of questions here, but have you ever ask yourself who was that person who always tells you to stay strong in God?

For some of us who now what it's like to be welcomed by another Christian, we should practice it to other people too! I personally know how it feels like, it feels great to know that somebody wants to care for me, that another person treats me like a family! So why not welcome other Christians the same way I was welcomed too?

In other versions, this verse also means:

(a) When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.

(b) Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.

(c) Supply the needs of the saints. Extend hospitality to strangers.

(d) Share what you have with God's people who are in need. Be hospitable.

(e) Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

(f) Giving the needs of the saints, ready to take people into your houses.

I hope this gives you a clearer picture of the verse =)

Remember to always look for Christians in need and find ways to meet their needs =)

Have Faith

Dear soldiers in Christ, glad to be back here to encourage you once again! =)

Remember, God listens to our prayers! He's always listening to us when we pray, even when we're in a dry season of our lives!

Hence, we can bring our sorrows and problems to God! So when you feel burdened by the things of this world, when everything in your life seems like it's crushing down on us, just cry out to God =)

I encourage you to trust in God's faithfulness! He is our strength, and is a God of grace and power! Everything He hold in His hand, still he makes time for us! Praise Him God of earth and sky, how beautiful is His unfailing love! He never change, but He remains with His unfailing love for us =)

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 says, "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

So do look ahead over your problems, because God is always teaching us something through our hardships and sufferings! Just have a little faith in the LORD =)

If you're suffering from persecution and rejection, remember one thing: The persecution and rejection we experience in this life because of our faith will be far outweighed by the blessings we'll receive in heaven! When afflicted, know that our sufferings is of temporary nature!

1 Peter 5:6-7 says, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."

In times of affliction, let us not only turn to God in prayer but also pray to Him in urgency! He cares for you, so give all your cares to Him! He knows the best for all of us =)

Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

God is truly in control! And He knows our sufferings, hardships and afflictions! From the smallest and minute thing to the hard things in our lives! He reigns forever, and He will deal with them in His perfect timing! Are you willing to let the Creator of the universe to take control of you life?

Dear soldiers in Christ, just have a little faith in the LORD =) He gives peace to us not like the world, because the peace He gives lasts forever =)

It's Time To Step Up

"God wants to bring transformation and correcting to our lives through suffering!", this was what I remember from a Sunday sermon a long time ago.

Hence, however cliche this may sound, but if you're suffering in any form, from the lightest condition to the heaviest condition, God is surely stirring up something in your life =)

A few days ago, I was so pressured by the amount of assignments that I have in my college, I wanted to stop doing anything and just give up! It wasn't easy for me, I kept thinking for hours about how to accomplish my work, and finally told myself I'm not going to give up.

This line came to me while I was amidst of my struggle, "If today was your last day, what would you do?" And I told myself that I'm going to give my best to God no matter how many times I struggle, fall or even disobey Him. I'm sure it's not going to be easy.

Everytime when I look back at my life, at all the wonders God has done, like giving me a second chance to live (Lung Operation), Protecting me from the evil spirits (Mat Rempit with parangs robbed my friends and I), Teaching me life-values that cannot be bought and I didn't had to go through them to make a mistake (Loving other people and so on), Letting me know that I can achieve great things with His strength (Becoming a leader in so many areas, in my high school, even got the best trainee in National Service) and even teaching me perseverance (My family crisis and issues, and how my life has been shaped), when I look back at all these events again I'm 200% sure that the LORD is with me! How much more can I thank Him? He has been so good to me, and yet I neglect and disobey Him so frequently.

I would like to encourage you to do this every morning when you wake up, ask yourself this question, "If today was my last day, what would I do?" Remember, whatever you are about to do, do it for the LORD. So that at the end of the day God would be able to say, "Well done." =)

It's time I step up in life, to give my all to Him. Hence, I would like to encourage you, my brothers and sisters in Christ, that it's time for all of us step up for Him. It's time we give our all to Him. No matter which point you are in life, NEVER EVER GIVE UP ON THE LORD, BECAUSE HE NEVER GAVE UP ON YOU IN LIFE =)

The Word Of God

From the Bible,

Isaiah 40:8 says, "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

[The LORD keeps his promises true, and for generations to generations he never cease to fulfill them. The Bible is the history of what happened around 2000 years ago, the way God works, each generation praised Him and witnessed His true love and amazing grace. Hence, if you think He's out-dated and no longer relevant to the modern generation, you'll be amazed that He's still the same God 2000 years ago! He is still the God of Love! So if you're going through a crazy time in your life right now, don't hang on and rely on the things of this world for strength, but rely on God, who will never fail you!]

Joshua 1:8-9 says, "Do not let this Book of the Law(Bible) depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

[The fact that God is the most powerful being in the universe means that we have the freedom to obey Him without worrying about the earthly consequences. If you trust God, you should give him your all and not some parts of your life only.]

Matthew 4:4 says, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every Word that comes from the mouth of God.' "

[Now this may sound common, but it's ever-true! We are humans, we do our daily routines over and over again. We eat, study, work, play and sleep. Some of us even push God aside and make no time to pray and read God's Word! I believe that it's time we come to acknowledge this verse, that nobody on earth can live on bread alone, but on every Word that God has spoken through the Bible! If it weren't for Him, we would have been wiped out by the great flood during Noah's time! So let us read and meditate on His Word daily in order to live the life He wants us to live.]

Don't give up in life now =)

No matter how lost you are in life don't give up. Greater things have yet to come in your life =)

Everyday comes with new challenges, new obstacles, new desires, new goals, new dreams, new hopes, new mountains and a new day to begin your faith again!

It's not what happens to us, it's what we do with what happens to us!

It's not how hard we fall, it's what we do when we fall!

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going!

Quitters never win, and winners never quits!

We can pray and believe that God can and will do what we can't!

Persevere and pray at the same time in times of touch season!

1 Peter 5:6-7 says, "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of GOD, that HE may exalt you in due time, casting all you care upon HIM, for HE cares for you!"

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I just want to encourage you:

[Don't let today's disappointments cast a shadow on tomorrow's dreams] =)

[Somewhere there's someone who dreams of your smile, and finds in your presence that life is worth-while. So when you are lonely, remember it's true that somebody somewhere is thinking of you] =)

You've reached this far in life, don't give up now! God sees every of our problems, even the smallest details about it! We have to continue to stand up and walk! Press on in life! For greater things have yet to come in your life =)

The World Needs To Know The Truth!

All has sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

None of us are without sin, everyone are sinners and by the blood of God we are washed from our sins. His resurrection has beaten and conquered victoriously over death and sin.

Jesus said in the book of Matthew, "If any of you is without sin, let him be the one to throw the first stone." 14

God's Own Word says in Phil1 : 15-18 "It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. The latter do so in love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice." 9

It's not how hard you fall, it's what you do when you fall. (Get up! Get back on track with God!)

Look at all those people out there who don't know Jesus, who don't know the Bible, who don't know what a loving God we serve, who don't know why we believe in Christ, who don't know the salvation He has already given to us!

What are we still doing? Why are we still loving the things of this world and living our own world!? There is more importance in preaching the Word to 6 BILLION PEOPLE! IT'S TIME WE DENY OURSELVES, TAKE UP THE CROSS (Bible) AND FOLLOW HIM!

Don't just tell people how lucky you are to know Jesus, GO OUT AND TELL THE WORLD ABOUT THIS TRUTH THAT YOU KNOW! What are you waiting for? Don't expect unbelievers to come to you and ask you about Christianity. We, as ambassadors of Christ are supposed to go out into the world and show the light to this dark and lost world! We're God's messenger, his servants!

How would the lost ever hear about Jesus unless we tell them about it!? They will perish if we don't tell them, when it is our duty! Just think about this: "If nobody ever told your family, or you about Jesus Christ, would you be able to live in truth?" You wouldn't, you might be questioning yourself daily, "What am I living for? There's no purpose in life! I'm just an accident, why am I even born? Maybe I should just enjoy myself, maybe if I do a little bad things in this life, it's okay." The fact that you already know how wrong is it to have this kind of perception, many people don't know, and are still living a sinful life! Just look around you, think about your friends who don't know Jesus Christ, think about those people who never knew anything about truth and salvation. They have no hopes, and we are the people that God wants to give hope to!

Go out to the world, over the highest mountains, over the deepest ocean, over the darkest valley, and tell them that Jesus Christ lives and loves them! That somebody actually cares for them, Jesus's unfailing love is always there for them! Don't let them perish, when it's already too late.

My Shout To All Christians On This Planet!

Dear Christians, if you're reading this, please pray for Malaysia. Malaysia is going through a state of persecutions and sufferings! Churches are torched down, Muslims who wants to convert to Christians are persecuted, even the government has lost their mind!

In such a time as this, we as Christians have to do our duty which is to pray! We should not just stand by and watch Malaysia sink! PRAY! BELIEVE! We have to do something!

So my shout to you is to pray for Malaysia, that God will bring a transformation to this country, and young men will rise to take their place in advancing the kingdom of God!

Be prepared, because when we take up the Cross, deny ourselves and follow Him, we will suffer persecution! Let us hope for a revival in this country!

All the glory, honour and praise goes to God!

My encouragement today is simple! Merry Christmas to all souls who believes that Jesus lives! For Christmas day is the day that Christ was born, where mankind has received HOPE!
