Light Of The World!

Hello there, world! I'm Yong Zhen Kheng a.k.a King! I'm a 24 young man who has given my life to God! I face plenty of challenges and mountains daily, but it is by the grace of God that I'm able to stand tall with His strength in such a world that we live in. "Light Of The World!" is the name of my blog. Because in such a dark world that we live in, everyone is looking for that something somewhere somehow to fill and satisfy their souls. And that is where the Word of God comes in, where love and hope are always present and living. God is the Light of the world, and my prayer is that we will go beyond the call of duty to show love to the people around us with the love that He has shown us - That they may know just how real and amazing our God is! This is what we're here for: To show the world how He love it. This is what we're made for: To lay it all down like He did :) Our God is an awesome God, He reigns from heaven and earth, with wisdom, power and love, our God is an awesome God! And He has chosen us to be the Light of the world, so come let us share the Good News with the world together! (:
>> Sincerely, a man on many missions.

Greater Things Have Yet To Come

It was on the 29th May 2011, where I went to church on a Sunday morning. I wasn't expecting anything, just a normal service to learn about God's Word and hopefully teach others as well.

Wearing my black cap and grey jacket, I led myself to the PA area situated at the back of the church and sinked into my chair while waiting for the first service to begin. It was my first time sitting there on a Sunday service, because I expected the least from any extraordinary event, and I had no idea what was coming my way.

When the service started, we sang praises and worship God. After our worship, Pastor Perry from Nigeria started the Word. I was used to his style of preaching as I have watched many videos of other Nigerian Pastors such as Pastor Chris Oyakhilome at home. Not being new to the style of preaching, I had a hunch the service was going to be an epic one. And yes, it was an epic service.

Today wasn't a sermon, it was a service! Pastor Perry was so inspiring and encouraging that he asked us to use our spiritual gifts. Those who were able to speak in tongues were encouraged to speak in tongues continuously. When I stared to speak in tongues, I couldn't stop! It was like the Holy Spirit took over me and I was ON FIRE for God!

Many of us went out to the front of the church when he made countless of altar calls. But before we went out, he said those who wanted to do big things should make a stand and walk around. At first, only the old adults stood up and walked around. And then the Pastor was surprised as there was no youth standing up! So he said, "Now, where are all the young people? Can I get some young people who wants to do big things for God to stand up?" Just then, in my heart I can hear the Holy Spirit prompting me to stand up! And I instantly stood up because I really want to do BIG THINGS FOR GOD! When I stood up, the pastor started rejoicing because I was the first young dude who stood up among the other adults.

Those who stood up then proceeded to the front of the church and the pastor started praying for each of us individually. When the pastor came to me, I was still speaking in tongues and never stopped from the time when I first started speaking! In short: I was on a ROLL!!! The Pastor suddenly said, "Church, you have found your vessel! This boy here, Mmm mm..." My eyes were still closed as I spoke in tongues. When the pastor took my cap off, he shouted with joy and told the church that I am going to do great things for the Lord. He gave me a prophecy which I will always remember.

Here's the prophecy he gave me: In about 2 years time, I will take the Gospel to Europe and America. I will fulfill the Word, blend into nations and I will have the ability to do.

Pastor Reynold anointed me with the Olive oil, then Pastor Perry laid hands on my forehead, and I fell down.

While down on the ground with the blanket over me, every time Pastor Perry prays for someone and tells that person what God has installed for him and heals someone, I spoke in tongues louder and louder! It was like my spirit was full of joy!!! It was an amazing moment that I will not forget.

At the end of the service, I have concluded - that I want to do great and mighty things for the Lord. A man plans, but God decides. And yes, I want to hear Him tell me at the end of the day: "Well done good and faithful servant, for you have done what I have asked you to do" :)

I hope this serves as an encouragement to all of us that no matter who you are, what you do and where you are, God can use you to do great and mighty things for Him, you just need to have the desire and willingness for God. God might not tell you what your future careers are, or what lies in your future. But when that time comes, you'll be filled with joy and thank Him! Remember, greater things have yet to come in your life :)

-It's time to have a sense of urgency for God-
