Just yesterday: Christmas Day, I woke up in the morning ready to battle the new day.
Walking around my kitchen I realized that I have nothing to eat.
And with nothing to eat (With my ultra hungry tummy),
I decided that my main mission is to find something to eat at the shops nearby.
After traveling to many shop and restaurants around my house,
and a moderate proximity from my house,
I came to find out that NOTHING IS OPEN at all.
Even KFC and Subway are closed!
I hesitated a little,
finding out that even the vending machine that sells instant noodles is being locked up
(Even the vending machine is on Christmas holiday mode oh great!)
With literally nothing to munch on,
I looked up in the sky and thought perhaps this could be the end of the world......
for my tummy... at least for one day!
And in my own little mind,
I even whispered to God:
"Where is: God Provides, cause I'm hungry and I have nothing to eat."
I then decided to call up a friend and ask if he was at home,
and has any food to help this starving young man.
Much to my surprise, he was at home.
He instantly welcomed me over to his living quarters.
The moment I entered the interior side of his house,
he was already cooking with a friend a meal:
Spaghetti with unique sauce
(Just because I don't know what sauce it is, we'll stick with Unique Sauce).
They were cooking the spaghetti for a portion of 2 people only.
My eyes begin to look around for my food,
to see if he has anything for me as he said he did.
But, they took the portion of 2 people, and divided it among 3 people including me.
I looked at them and couldn't really understand why they were so hospitable to me,
and why they would make their small meal a smaller meal just to feed me.
Even though it was very small, it managed to calm my starving thundering tummy.
I thought, "Okay, after thanking them for making lunch for me,
I probably shouldn't disturb them for my dinner.
I'll just find something somewhere somehow for my dinner."
But miraculously they invited me over to another house for dinner.
And they cooked for me.
It was the largest meal I ever had in Australia,
so huge that the guy even offered me more food,
and he told me I only had so little (Which was a lot!)
My tummy became pregnant-like due to the overload of food and I was so full!
I went home, lied down on my bed and tears begin streaming my down my eyes.
I said to God silently: "God really provides."
And this is a constant reminder not just to me but everyone who will ever read this,
that God will always provide.
He always give us what He knows we need,
and He will never forsake us
That if He can provide me with food that I can't find,
how much more should I trust Him?
God has always been, still is and will always be good to us.
And it breaks my heart to know that we as humans,
have failed Him over and over and over again,
yet He still forgave us and draw out His hand to catch us whenever we fall.
That we can never understand such love and compassion He has shown us.
It is with great pain and sacrifice that He showed us the Truth,
therefore let us honor it with all our hearts in faith, hope and love.
