Light Of The World!

Hello there, world! I'm Yong Zhen Kheng a.k.a King! I'm a 24 young man who has given my life to God! I face plenty of challenges and mountains daily, but it is by the grace of God that I'm able to stand tall with His strength in such a world that we live in. "Light Of The World!" is the name of my blog. Because in such a dark world that we live in, everyone is looking for that something somewhere somehow to fill and satisfy their souls. And that is where the Word of God comes in, where love and hope are always present and living. God is the Light of the world, and my prayer is that we will go beyond the call of duty to show love to the people around us with the love that He has shown us - That they may know just how real and amazing our God is! This is what we're here for: To show the world how He love it. This is what we're made for: To lay it all down like He did :) Our God is an awesome God, He reigns from heaven and earth, with wisdom, power and love, our God is an awesome God! And He has chosen us to be the Light of the world, so come let us share the Good News with the world together! (:
>> Sincerely, a man on many missions.

My Life Story

Dear faithful readers, I apologize for my absence for a little while. I have been through plenty of things in my life, and I am going to share it with you right now.

I have been struggling with many stuffs in my life, and going through them isn't easy. It's like learning how to ride a bicycle for the first time and not knowing how to!

There's this word that I want to share with you, it's called "B E L I E V E". It is indeed a very B I G word and whoever who uses it sure does have alot of faith in that word! The Bible did talk about faith, that if you have faith of a mustard seed, you will be able to say to this mountain, "Move!" and it will move! Believing involves faith, and faith is not easy to have when you're going through a hard problem or moment in your life! You see, when I say believe, it doesn't mean that whatever you are believing in would happen right away! Sometimes it takes correcting and time for you to actually see it happening as you continually believe! Now, some of you might ask me why am I talking about believing when I said I was going to share with you about my life. Well, my life comes with believing! In fact, my whole life I put my trust, hope, strength and believe in the LORD!

I believe that He will use me as His instrument to glorify His Name and live for Him for the rest of my days! And yes He is certainly using me with all the gifts that He has given me to glorify His Name and bless His Holy Name!

For the past few weeks, I involved myself in caroling, worshipping, praying and even true obedience! God wants true obedience from us if we want Him to use us! True obedience counts, look at Noah and David and Paul and Jesus! They were all truly obedient to God! I'm not saying that you will always be free from temptations, but it's what you do when it comes that counts! You should stand up and get back on track with Him whenever you fall down! It don't matter if you fell hard, just get back up and turn away from your old habits!

Back to my life story, God showed me many wonderful and creative things! He showed me the smile on people's faces, the laughter and joys of people, the wonderful creation of His world, the blessings of His promises, the strength He gave me to continue living in my life, and encouraged me alot! When I am caroling with my church members and the youths, I was simply amazed and happy that God could use my gift in singing to sing for Him! The crowd not only were entertained, but they were shared with the Good News that Jesus lives! That Christmas is all about Jesus! And yes, it was great! I had a sore throat and knew that if I caroled onwards I would lose my voice, but He gave me strength to sing and I never lost any of my voice! Praise God!

As for Youth Sunday, I was the backup singer. I was overwhelmed by God that He could use me to lead the church in worship and praises! It was great serving Him! Honestly, I could keep on singing for Him!

Yesterday, I went to a shopping mall "Midvalley Megamall" to celebrate the birthday of one of my friend named Krystie with my other friends. She was delighted and happy that we gave her a surprise birthday cake at her father's electrical shop right before she left! And we sang the birthday song with her family too! In addition, we also caroled for the family and the shop's staffs. They were all entertained, and we managed to glorify His Name even on Krystie's birthday! Amen to that!

I can say that God is one of a kind and will never forsake us! He do things perfect in His time! Hallelujah! Glorify His Name!

ALL CREDITS AND GLORY AND HONOR GOES TO GOD!!!

The song of this year for me would be this Christian song "Blessed Be Your Name"! Why? That's because the lyrics is great! here it is:

Blessed be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your Name

Blessed be Your Name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be Your Name

Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in LORD
Still I will say

Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your Name
Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your glorious Name

Blessed be Your Name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's all as it should be
Blessed be Your Name

Blessed be Your Name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your Name (Yes LORD!)

Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in LORD
Still I will say

Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your Name
Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your glorious Name (Oh...)

Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your Name (Na....me!)
Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your glorious Name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
LORD blessed be Your Name

God You give and take away
Oh You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
LORD blessed be Your Name

Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your Name (Na....me!)
Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your glorious Name

Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your Name (I choose to say.)
Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your glorious Name (Blessed be Your Name!)

You give and take away
God You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
LORD blessed be Your Name

God You give and take away
You give and You take away
But my heart will choose to say
LORD blessed be Your Name

Oh You give and take away
You give and take away (For you oh God!)
My heart will choose to say
LORD blessed be your name (Na....me!)

Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your Name
Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your glorious Name

Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your Name
Blessed be the Name of the LORD
Blessed be Your glorious Name (Na....me!) (Blessed be Your Name!)

Did you noticed that? The lyrics says that God gives and takes away, and yes He does! However, He won't take away everything, He will take away the things He knows isn't good for you and gives you exactly what you need to glorify His Name! Although we are humans, He gives us the strength to live for Him! In addition, the lyrics also says that blessed be His Name on the road marked with suffering, though there's pain in the offering, blessed be His Name!! Isn't that great?? We could still bless His Name even in troubled times! God wants our obedience and faith when we are going through good times, and He also wants our obedience and faith when we are going through our bad times! When the darkness closes in, still we should say BLESSED BE HIS NAME!!

Dear faithful readers, I encourage you to stand up for Him! For our PROVIDER, SAVIOUR, LORD OF ALL, FATHER IN HEAVEN, SHEPERD, PROTECTOR, CREATOR, CLOSEST FRIEND, OUR EVERYTHING!!! He's the One that we should put all our hopes, trust, goals, dreams, fears, care to!! The Bible has said, "Cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you!" Yes He does! From the book of Luke 10:27, it says, "Love the LORD your God with all your heart!" And from the book of Psalm 139:1, it says, "O LORD you have examined my heart and know everything about me!" So don't give up in trying times! Earnestly seek Him and you'll see a change in your life! It's time to live a revolutionary life for Him! =)
